Twins Take Kennedy Out of Demands
Murray Chass reports that the Twins are now demanding Hughes, Jeff Marquez, Melky, and presumably a fourth, maybe Mitch Hilligoss? I still don't make this trade. It simply doesn't help the Yankees enough. It may not be enough to surpass the Red Sox in the standings this year, and in the future it is even less of a help, as Santana will be on the decline and Hughes on the rise. Regardless, I still think this is as good or better than Crisp, Lester, Masterson and Lowrie.
