According to Pete Abraham, both Johnny Damon and Hideki Matsui have both suffered setbacks in their rehab down in Florida. This is very bad news for an unproductive offense. Both of those guys were having very good seasons before getting hurt, and them being out longer means more Wilson Betemit and Brett Gardner/Melky Cabrera. It's too bad there are no future Hall of Famers just sitting around waiting to play for the pro-rated fastball. Oh well.
