The Yankees have won six straight games, and are now just 3.5 games back of the Rays, 3 back of the 2nd place Red Sox. On Friday, the Yankees head to Boston for the biggest series of the year so far. A sweep (unlikely) would tie them with the Red Sox. It will be Joba against Beckett on Friday, which should be a great game to watch. On Saturday, it will be Pettitte vs. Tim Wakefield and Sunday will be Sidney Ponson agaist Jon Lester. It is very difficult to beat the Red Sox at Fenway, but if the Yankees win two out of three, it will be a very successful series.
