4th and 11th place

With a Yankees loss and Toronto win the Yankees have dropped into fourth place in the division and are tied for the 11th best record in all of baseball. While a fourth place finish would be admittedly embarrassing think about what team finished third in 2006. Then think about what they did the next year. The difference between second and third is really no different from the difference between second and last. They`re closer to having a protected first round pick at least.

The game started out well for the Yankees with homers by Nady and Jeter but they really couldn't score anything after that. Its going to be very hard for Moose to get his 20th win which he really deserves.

Congratulations to Jeter on tying Babe Ruth for second most hits as a Yankee.
