We don't need a LF'er. The only place we have for him is first base and as weird as it sounds he might be a downgrade.
He absolutely cannot play first base. As crazy as it sounds, Giambi is better than Dunn defensively.
Then if you look at their offensive numbers for the past three years, they`re not that different. I would rather have Giambi on a 1 or 2 year deal then give Dunn a monster contract.
We trade Damon. Damon's value is at its highest right now and if you added in Kennedy and another prsopect or two could it get us a good young centerfielder? Dunn is an upgrade over Damon offensively and enough that it overcomes the defensive hit in LF. If they could pull that off that would probably fix our offesnive problems.
You really want Dunn in RF? That`s not going to work out that well.
He`s played 20 games in RF this year but he`s been truly awful in those 20 games. Defensive stats aren't perfect but he has a rate 2 of 80 there this year. I really don't want that. Besides, then what hapens to Nady?
I wouldn't trade Matsui because his value is so low right now and I don't see Nady leaving. However, Damon being traded does make some sense. It just sort of seems like a video game move. I`d be shocked.
I really don't want that defensive hole in RF. We complain Abreu's range but Dunn would make Abreu look like a gold glover. If Damon is traded though....
What would Damon+Kennedy+salary relief bring in for centerfielders?

what about if they dont resign Abreu and they stick him in RF
Theirs actually is a way for this to work.

All we have to do is get rid of one of our bum OFs and then he can play their position either LF or RF
I really wanna sign him and CC
not first thought (that would be baaad)

Yea him in left would be better but RF wouldn't be too bad he just needs some time
think of Nady in RF Dunn in LF
ahh

All we need is one that will hold us off til A-Jax is ready
Well, theirs no guarentees with any prospects.I wouldn't go that far.
And we`ll need to replace Damon, Matsi, and possibly Nady in two years.
It wouldn't be a bad thing if we could get a good centerfielder and put A-Jax in RF. That would definitely help[ the defense as well.
Well we would only really need to deal with Dunn's horrible defense for one year, because once Matsui leaves Dunn can just DH.
