Well, It's Over

So, the Yankees split their double header with the Red Sox today (congrats to Moose) to finish the season. Obviously, this season has not been what any of us expected, and for the most part has been disappointing, and there is a lot of work to be done in the offseason, which I will get to later. However, this season has not been as bad as it seemed, and there is actually less improvement needed than many of us think. Despite not making the playoffs for the first time since 1993, the Yankees still won 89 games, and finished the season tied for the seventh best record in the majors, and were better than two of the teams that made the playoffs. I think that if this season were to be played out a thousand times, this would have been one of the worst outcomes. This team is not as bad as it seems.
