Pax Knoblogana

As you have seen we have added a couple of writers to our staff. This is part of the Chuck Knoblog 2010 refresh. We may even be adding more writers in the coming weeks. Dave and Keane are the newest editions. They both are huge Yankee fans and both bring different writing styles and strengths.

I am really excited to kick off a new era of the Knoblog. A golden age; Pax Knoblogana.

I.P.K. Injury Update

I.P.K. took a step in the right direction of getting healthy. Today he threw his first bullpen session since straining his right lat muscle last month. It lasted 30 pitches and only consisted of fastballs and change-ups. Later in the week he will be throwing more bullpen sessions and be mixing in breaking pitches. He said "It feels back to normal again." Which is a good sign for the Yankees. Even if I.P.K. is fully healed the Yankees might not have a spot for him. He had this to say about that: "I try not to think about it,because all I can do is get healthy," Kennedy said "Whatever happens, happens. Otherwise it will just drive you crazy.

Yankees Awakened

Yes, Yankee fans you can finally come out of your holes because the Yankees have started to score runs. With a five game winning streak under our belts and a Boston 3 game losing streak the Yanks are now only five games back behind the Sox. Cano kicked his hitting slump in the balls and sent it home crying while Matsui has been batting like a mother at home. Ya know it feels good to win...with a three game sweep of Seattle and now moving on in the schedule to a three game road trip to Baltimore and then to the Twins, the Yankees have a good chance this week to seriously move up in the standings. Of course the man that sparked the winning A-ROD best player in baseball.
